WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT
We are small-batch brewery owned and run by Andy and Laura (with help from Andy's parents)
We draw inspiration from the seasons and the cyclical offerings from fruit growers and foraging.
In our opinion, the best beers take time. We never cut corners in our focus on quality.
Dolphin is for everyone - for beer enthusiasts as well as for those less familiar with beer. All our beers are vegan friendly.

1. FRUITY AND SOUR
We produce a range of fruited sours released annually. Year on year we make subtle variations. But each year we release a raspberry sour, an apple and rhubarb sour, a pineapple gose (to name a few). These beers are light, easy-drinking and are all about showcasing the wonderful flavours of fruit. They are sour beers - but rarely much sourer than the fruits we've used.
2. AGED AND CHARACTERFUL
We also produce beers that have been aged on mixed cultures. Although these beers can also be sour and fruity - they tend not to be primary characteristics. These beers are dry, with depth, and a flavour profile that evolves over time.
3. DRY AND DRINKABLE
Finally we produce non-sour beers that are dry and drinkable, with modest additions of hops. We love a crisp, refreshing Saison, or a summery Belgian wit. We also enjoy putting our twist on popular styles - like our Brett pale ale with peach. These beers are aromatic and sessionable, and generally highlight the beautiful, yet subtle, contribution of yeast-derived flavours in beer.
